P-W-B-64 Oxidative Dehydrogenation of n-Butane with Mo-V Based Catalysts in a Two Zone Fluidized Bed Reactor

The two-zone fluidized bed reactor technology together with the presented Mo-V based catalyst provides an alternative route towards 1,3-butadiene, which is from high industrial interest. Thorough investigation of the operating conditions led to an optimized performance of 32 % yield in 1,3-butadiene in steady state.
