Selected based catalyst is very different from supported or promoted cobalt based FT catalyst. X-ray diffraction and STEM demonstrate the structural change on catalyst surface. Ammonia in the form of NH3 gas exhibits negligible effect on the catalytic activity towards hydrocarbon selectivity. For this study different ammonia concentration was studied.
