Methane Steam Reforming on Ni Catalysts: Using External Electric Fields to Enhance Catalytic Performance

To improve the performance of the SOFC anode, an overview of how an external electric field can influence on the underlying electrocatalytic mechanisms is required. We found that a positive electric field can suppress the coke formation on the Ni catalysts and improve the performance of SOFC as well.
