Metal Oxalates As Precursors for Fischer Tropsch Catalysts

The oxalate route of co-precipitation was utilized in designing ‘CoCuMn’ for FT process. The decomposition were monitored using TPDec and XPS while the catalysts were characterized using 3D-APT and TEM.  The results demonstrated that the intimate mixing of the metals is key to boosting selective formation of long-chain oxygenates.
