O-M-406-6 SCR-DeNOx on Mesoporous and Hierarchically Structured V2O5/TiO2 Mixed Oxide Catalysts

Novel mesoporous and hierarchical monolithic V2O5/TiO2 mixed oxides were synthesized, characterized and investigated in the environmentally important SCR-DeNOx process. Results show that the additional macropores present in hierarchical materials with different V-content, facilitate intra-particle diffusion, and thus, increase catalytic activity by up to 200%, when compared to their mesoporous counterparts.
