We report on catalyst formulations for automotive passive-SCR applications, that may enable on-board formation of NH₃ from NO and hydrogen sources present in the exhausts. The effects of temperature, oxygen concentration and transient operation on the activity were studied and the role of surface species and catalyst state are discussed.
