Low temperature NOx adsorbers (LTNA) are a promising approach for treating the cold-start NOx emissions on diesel engines.  Model catalysts containing Pt or Pd on alumina or ceria/zirconia for evaluated for NOx storage and release during transient tests simulating cold-start FTP conditions.
