Standard NH₃-SCR over a Cu-BEA catalyst was investigated, and NO conversion was seen to not increase monotonically, which is a behavior also observed for Cu-CHA catalysts. A correlation between NO reduction and N₂O formation was observed, suggesting that they share a common reactant in the form of HNO₂.
