P-Mo-B-190 Continuous Deoxygenation of Model and Algal Lipids to Fuel-like Hydrocarbons over Supported Ni Alloy Catalysts

This study investigated the use of Cu or Sn as promoters to improve the performance of oxide-supported Ni catalysts in the synthesis of fuel-like hydrocarbons via the decarboxylation/decarbonylation of model and realistic lipid feeds, including lipids extracted from algae cultured using flue gas from a coal-fired power plant.
