An aminated tri-methyl polyphenylene membrane developed at Sandia National Laboratory was used to fabricate membrane electrode assembly with Pt/C catalyst. MEAs were tested in a single cell for direct methanol alkaline fuel cell. Preliminary results on the performance show promising application of the ATMPP membrane.
