Ballroom C (Galt House Hotel)
Synthesized catalysts showed enhanced performance at even low ratio of CO/CO2 (=2) compared to the conventional catalyst. Optimum temperature of methanol synthesis was reduced by using Cu/ZnO/ZrO2/Al2O3 catalyst, which was prepared by oxalate gel-precipitation method. Addition of Zr to Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst improved the copper dispersion.
