This research work aims toward synthesis, characterization, and testing of novel hydrodesulfurization (HDS) catalysts for ultra-deep desulfurization of diesel to achieve sulfur levels below 10 ppm. The catalysts are Ni-based supported on zinc oxide nanowires and alumina. The results show high activity for deep de-sulfurization of diesel in initial stages.
