Au-CuO/SiO2 was investigated as a catalysts for the oxidation of CO under simulated diesel exhaust conditions.  The catalyst demonstrates low temperature activity and increased thermal stability, but its performance is inhibited by the presence of NO and C3H6.  Catalysts and approaches to mitigating this inhibition will be discussed.
