O-F-BRA-8 Mechanistic Understanding of Acetone Steam Reforming on Cobalt Nanoparticles

Using an integrated experimental and theoretic approach, we attempted to unravel the unique mechanisms of acetone steam reforming on graphitized carbon supported Co nanoparticles, which proceeds via selective oxidation of -CH3 to form H2 and CO2 (CH3COCH3+5H2O →8H2 + 3CO2) (ASR).
