The Role of Edge and Basal Plane Sites on the Catalytic Activity of Graphitic Carbon

This study gives insights on how the ratio of edge/basal planes of graphene affect the catalytic performance for ODH.  It is shown that activities could be changed significantly by altering the number of the layers and plane dimension while selectivity remains constant.
