Coke Formation in Steam Reforming Catalysts Evaluated by Thermogravimetry

The carbon formation measured by thermo analysis TG-DTG can be used for catalysts screening in steam reforming of hydrocarbons. The conditions established for this methodology are not usual for industrial reactors but it is a good approach to select catalysts.
