Biodiesel is one of the main alternatives for fossil fuel development, in the present study it is report the synthesis of biodiesel by means of the transesterification reaction of vegetable oil into fatty acid methyl esters heterogeneously catalyzed by a mesoporous ZnO synthesized via self-assembly hydrothermal-assisted (SAHA) approach.
