Mo/ZSM-5 is a highly promising catalyst for non-oxidative methane conversion to liquid aromatic hydrocarbons. The study for the first time systematically evaluates the structure and activity of Mo carbide nanoparticles as a function of (1)the nanoparticles size, (2)nanoparticle composition and (3)location of the nanoparticle in the ZSM-5 framework.
