ED methods make it possible to synthesize true bimetallic catalysts which have better metalA-metalB interactions with controlled surface compositions. The catalysts discussed in this presentation exhibit performance for DMFC operation superior to the standard commercial catalyst and should also give very good performance for many different biomass conversion reactions.
