O-Tu-Jon-10 Metal-Modified Tungsten and Titanium Carbide Electrocatalysts for Energy Conversion

Monolayer (ML) Pt on tungsten and titanium carbide has nearly identical activity compared to bulk Pt for the hydrogen evolution reaction; this represents a great reduction in Pt loading.  ML metals on carbides also show enhanced activity compared to the parent metals for the carbon dioxide reduction reaction into fuels.
