O-F-BRB-9 Photocatalytic Redox Chemistry of Carbon Oxide on Rutile TiO2 (110) Surface and the Role of Reducible Support

The redox reactions of CO/CO2 on rutile TiO2 surface are considered in two different aspects by density functional theory. One is the nonadiabaticity of the oxidation reaction accompanying by the photogenerated hole, and the other is the role of the TiO2 surface as a reducible support.
