Catalysis-Induced Dispersive Behavior of Individual Nanoparticles Probed at the Single Molecule Level

Single molecule measurements with single turnover resolution allow the measurement of intrinsic kinetics of individual nanoparticles which can be masked during ensemble measurements. This study provides insight into the structure-activity and the size-activity relationship of a catalyst thereby promoting the development of highly active and selective catalysts.
