Catalysis of Doped TiO2 and its Electronic Origin

We focus on the surface properties and catalysis of electrochemical water splitting on titanium oxides and the problem of electronic structure reactivity descriptors for transition metal oxides. Understanding the correlation between the electronic structure of a surface and its reactivity can ultimately lead to design of novel catalysts.
