Biofuels Production via Hydrocracking of Corn Oil over Bimetallic Carbides Supported by SBA-15

The conversion of waste oils to biofuels is one of the most promising ways to reduce the need for fuel derived from petroleum and save the environment.  This research explores the hydrocracking of corn oil over different types of catalysts in order to optimize catalyst activity, selectivity and durability.
