Selective Catalytic Oxidation of Ammonia to Nitrogen on Transition Metal Oxide Based Catalysts for Hot Exhaust Treatment

NexTech has developed a new family of non-precious metal ammonia selective oxidation catalysts with excellent catalytic performance and sulfur tolerance for solving ammonia slip problem in urea-SCR systems for diesel engine after-treatment. 100% NH₃ conversion and > 85% N₂ selectivity were achieved at 225-400°C and GHSV=100,000-200,000 ml/g/hr.
