O-Th-BRA-3 The Influence of Alkali and Alkaline Earth Elements on a Co/γ-Al2O3 Fischer-Tropsch Catalyst

The effect of alkali and alkaline earth metals on a Co-Re/γ-Al2O3 catalyst used in the FTS was investigated. Even low amounts of these elements have significant negative effect on the activity, but leads to slightly higher C5+ selectivity. The catalyst characterization (TPR, chemisorption) gave only negligible effects of the pollutants.
