To develop a highly active and stable catalyst for CDR, we have tested Ni-Ce0.8Zr0.2O2 and Ni-MgO-Ce0.8Zr0.2O2 catalysts at a very high GHSV of 480,000 h–1. The Ni-MgO-Ce0.8Zr0.2O2 catalyst exhibited high activity and stability for CDR reaction under severe condition due to an intimate interaction between Ni and MgO.
