The scope of the present study was to investigate the capability of the laboratory CMI (catalytic metal impregnation) and CPS (cyclic propylene steaming) deactivation methods to simulate commercial deactivation of the FCC catalysts affecting both their performance and their properties when the catalysts is in presence of heavy feeds.
