Direct Synthesis of Hydrogen Peroxide in a Wall Coated Microreactor Using Au-Pd Catalyst

Due to the extensively reduced dimensions for reactant flow, direct contacting of hydrogen and oxygen can be carried out safely in the microreactor. Our experiments clearly indicate that switching the reaction conditions to explosive H₂/O₂ ratios results in a major increase in both productivity and selectivity towards H₂O₂.
