Measuring Energetic Heterogeneity of Metal Oxides using Vapor Sorption Techniques

This presentation will outline several studies where surface energy distributions have been applied to several inorganic solids.  For instance, the surface properties of calcite has been investigated.  Additionally, the surface energy distributions of different metal oxides have been studied, with a focus on the effects of thermal history and background RH.
