O-Tu-Seg-16 Low-Temperature, Manganese Oxide-Based Thermochemical Cycle for Water Splitting and CO2 Reduction

We demonstrate a manganese-based thermochemical cycle that splits water into stoichiometric amounts of hydrogen and oxygen at or below 850°C. The cycle is completely recyclable and does not involve toxic or corrosive chemicals.
