Revisiting Formic Acid Decomposition on Bulk Metallic Catalysts

The famous Sachtler-Fahrenfort volcano curve, a result of the study on formic acid decomposition over metallic powders, has never been reproduced over the past 50 years. The current study aims to appropriately reproduce these experiments and employing proper parameters relating to the surface phenomena.
