The toolbox for investigating catalysts under reaction conditions has significantly expanded as it is now possible to obtain multiple in-situ data, time-resolved 3-D chemical insights down to nanometers and single molecule-single site information. This lecture aims to discuss the spatiotemporal characterization of individual catalyst particles at the micron- and nanoscale.
