OG03 Routes for production of liquid transportation fuels by liquid-phase catalytic processing

We will outline how heterogeneous catalysts can be used in a cascade mode to selectively remove oxygen moieties from carbohydrates to produce specific classes of platform molecules that serve as intermediates for the production of hydrocarbons for use as liquid transportation fuels.
