The kinetically-relevant step for NO-H2 reactions on Pt/Al2O3 involves the addition of two H-atoms to adsorbed NO on surfaces covered by H* and NO* via H2 and NO adsorption equilibrium . The rate constants for NO reduction are insensitive to Pt cluster size (1.5-10 nm).
