P-Tu-50 Synthesis gas production over Ni/Ru–based catalysts by partial oxidation of methane in presence of steam

Catalytic partial oxidation of methane in presence of steam has been performed over Ni–Ru/Al2O3 and Ni–Ru­/CeO2–Al2O3 catalysts. Metal dispersion is enhanced when ceria is added to the catalyst. Also, conversion at lower temperatures is increased with ceria addition.
