P-Tu-32 Preparation of Pt/Co/SiO2 and Pt/Fe/SiO2 Fischer-Tropsch Catalysts Via Strong Electrostatic Adsorption

Pt/Co/SiO2 and Pt/Fe/SiO2 Fisher-Tropsch catalysts were synthesized by Strong Electrostatic Adsorption (SEA) and characterized by STEM, XRD, BET, TPR and EDXS. Platinum can be selectively adsorbed onto Co and Fe oxides and not onto silica, leading to well dispersed particles with intimate metal-metal interaction.
