P-We-47 Pt Loaded CdS/Titanate-Nanotube Catalyst for Photocatalytic Carbon Dioxide Hydrogenation

Pt loaded CdS combined nanotube titanate (Pt-CdS/TNT) was prepared for photocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction with water vapor. It proved to be much more efficient than TiO2. The main reaction products were CH4, H2,C2H4, C2H6 . The hydrogenation process could be realized not only under UV but also under visible light illumination.
