The study of the interaction among nitrogen oxides and Cu-ZSM-5 sites have provided a mechanism for N2, N2O and nitrate formation and a quantitative analysis of active sites in the decomposition of NO. Moreover, the adsorption/decomposition properties of Cu-ZSM-5 have been evaluated to develop novel periodic processes of NOx abatement
