Ontario Exhibit Hall (Detroit Marriott Hotel at the Renaissance Center )
Selective hydrogenation of acids and esters is an important pathway in the production of chemicals and fuels from traditional and renewable feedstock. Our study explores factors that influence the activity and selectivity in the conversion of model carboxylic compounds, providing insights for developing efficient catalysts for this class of reaction.
