Based on this work, BDO and THF could be produced by the hydrogenation of succinic acid and the experimental results demonstrated the pore size of mesoporous materials and the acidity of the WA catalysts could affect the catalytic activity, i.e. conversion of succinic acid and selectivity to BDO and THF.
