The existence of an optimum NH3 surface concentration in the Standard SCR reaction over Fe-zeolite at low-T was evidenced by kinetic runs. A red-ox kinetic model accounts for dynamic and hysteresis effects observed in lab scale and test bench runs. This has obvoius practical implications e.g. in the development of NH3 dosing strategies.
