OC43 A Fundamental Study of the Enhanced SCR Reaction over a V2O5-WO3/TiO2 Catalyst for Stationary Applications

Results show that the new Enhanced SCR reaction (2NH3 + 2NO + NH4NO3 → 3N2 + 5H2O) proceeds according to a sequential scheme with oxidation of NO to NO2 by AN, followed by Fast SCR reaction. Results clarify open issues, with practical implications, and provide fundamental insights into the NH3-SCR chemistry.
