This work contributes to understanding the mechanism behind the CO conversion regimes of PROX operation, as well as the reactor's axial resolution. The reverse WGS is responsible for the CO conversion drop. The impact of transport on CO selectivity is attributed to different O2 reaction orders in the oxidation reactions.
