The anchoring ability of metals on the hydrophobic side of the amphiphilic nanohybrids is relevant to the extent of metal-catalyzed reactions in the organic phase of biphasic systems. The combined experimental and theoretical study was performed to elucidate the interaction of Pd clusters on the pristine and functionalized carbons nanotubes.
