P-Tu-17 Novel Catalysts for Selective Hydrodesulfurization: NiMo Supported on Titanate Nanotubes

NiMo catalysts supported on titanate nanotubes (TNT) were prepared for the first time, characterized and tested in simultaneous HDS of DBT and 4,6-DMDBT.  The HDS activity of the NiMo/TNT catalysts was lower than of the anatase nanopowder-supported counterparts. However, their selectivity towards the direct desulfurization  pathway was extremely high.
