OD78 Can the knowledge gained from the methane combustion be applied for the ethanol total oxidation?

The Pd catalysts were employed to evaluate if the knowledge gained from methane combustion can be applied for the ethanol oxidation. Both reactions occur on the same active sites. However, high ethanol reactivity towards oxidation and its interaction with supports lead to a different catalytic performance than the methane one.
