This research studies the impacts of sulfur on a Pt/Rh catalyst during autothermal reforming in a monolithic reactor.  Cycle testing (120 startups and shutdowns) and long term continuous testing with and without sulfur were performed and stable catalyst activity was achieved. The primary reactions affected by sulfur deactivation were identified.
