We investigate the stability of catalyst systems containing nickel and platinum supported on γ-Al2O3 which are relevant in the area of biomass aqueous phase reforming. Specifically, we examine the support dissolution and leaching of metals into solution. Effects on the apparent catalytic performance are discussed.
