P-We-41 Plasma surface modification of a zirconia monolith support for partial oxidation of ethanol on PtSn catalysts

Nitrogen plasma modification is demonstrated to be an effective surface modification technique to improve the metallic dispersion of Pt/Sn on PSZ (Partially stabilized Zirconia) support.  Catalytic activity of unmodified and plasma modified catalysts showed that plasma modified catalyst exhibits higher hydrogen selectivity over the unmodified catalyst.
